FlightSure is a small team building one product for one type of customer. We hire infrequently and very deliberately. If you've spent your career adjacent to this problem and have wanted to solve it properly, we'd like to hear from you.

We are a hybrid team based out of Cambridge, with two days a week in the office for everyone except a small number of fully remote specialists.

We do not run a sprint cadence. We don't ship behind feature flags for a year. Most engineers talk to a customer most weeks. The product roadmap is owned by the people building it, not a separate product organisation.

Compensation is competitive London-market for technical roles, with material early equity for the first 25 hires. We do visa sponsorship for senior roles. We offer six weeks of holiday and a meaningful learning budget. We don't do unlimited holiday — that's a tax on the people who actually take it.

Not a FAANG-flavoured process
No three-stage system-design panels for a backend role. We pair on a real piece of code, talk through trade-offs, and decide quickly.

Not remote-only
Two days a week in Cambridge for most roles. The product is too operational for everyone to be on Zoom.

Not for people who want to ship behind a feature flag for a year
Most of what we ship is in a customer's production workflow within a fortnight of merge.

Not a "mission-driven" pitch
We solve a sharp commercial problem for sharp commercial customers. Liking that problem is the mission.

Not a place for process theatre
No standup ceremonies. No retro Miro boards. We talk to each other.
